Maps


Tonight, please discuss with a family member the purpose of maps. Write about the ways your family relies on maps on a regular basis.

    We use maps to find plaaces to go. Some examples are that we used a map th find Ellie`s house.

    We use maps in math at school and to find the place your going! We also use maps on moms phone.

    When I have football games sometimes my parents don't know where to go. So they grab a map and write the instructions.

    We use maps if you are lost in the city, and if you are going some where also we use maps in class to find where we are.

    since we just moved here we use gps to know all the roads and highways and stuff we also use directions printed off from my football coach.

    My family uses a GPS to find the way to places we don't know the way to. All we have to do is type in the address and then follow the highlighted route.

    When we are traveling somewhere, we use a map so we know where we are and don't get lost.We take out the globe so we know where a country is which we did a lot of during the WORLD CUP.

    Maps are really useful to a lot of people. We were at Bainbridge Island and did not know our way around very well. My Mom passed me a map and told me where we were and where we needed to go. The map was very useful to us that day. We also use maps at school to learn more about our world. - Alexandria

    We use maps when we go to resteraunts. We find the maps in are mail and we use them in case we get lost. We ussually use maps when were on trips. Cause no one knows the direcation.

    We need maps when we go on trips and since we are new to the area we use gps which uses maps to help guide us.

    We use maps for getting to other places like resteraunts,cities,lakes and camping trips because you never know where you are when you go to that place.We have maps at school,resteraunts and book stores.

    My dad uses a GPS in his car to navigate where he needs to go. I also have a map on the wall in my room. Sometimes, when I'm in bed, I look at it to find where places are. my mom uses a map to find the best scenic views on her drives.

    There are many ways we use maps, such as finding restaurants or planing road trips and flights. My dad uses maps to find clients. Maps are great to have!

    we use maps to get to places we dont know how to get to. and it is good to keep them in ur car just in case u get lost.

    We rely on maps to find new places we have never been to.We also use maps to measure distance from one place to another area.

    We use maps to get us to where we want to go. Some maps also tell you which road to take so you don't get stuck in traffic.

    my family uses maps for fun and while on our adventurous trips. the purpose of maps is navigating you or someone else to where thy need to go.

    When my mom and dad don't know the direction to go to vacaitions they use a map to find out where to go.
